Welder and Metal Fabricator - Manchester, NH

A local, family owned, facilities services company has an immediate need for an experienced Welder to lead a small team of Fabricators. Having been in business since 1975, they have a great reputation and work with some of the top global organizations.

The role:


Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as countertops, platforms, ductwork, pans, etc.
Work may involve any of the following:

Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, roll, form and machine sheet metal; using mig, tig and stick welding equipment to join metal sheets and shapes. Assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.


Lay out positions, align and fit together the fabricated parts of structural metal components according to blueprint and layout specifications
Operate cutting and heating torches
Tack weld in all positions
Produce a finished product that meets recognized standards and customer expectations by maintaining quality procedures


Your experience:


Sheet Metal experience a HUGE plus
Associates certificate or degree preferred
3+ years of related welding experience
Steel/Bridge experience preferred
Ability to read and understand moderate to complex shop drawings and exceptional
ability to fit complex metal components together
Ability to read and interpret weld symbols on shop drawings and blueprints
Ability to understand Welding Procedure Specifications
Ability to interpret and apply metric and standard measurements
Must be able to work well with other team members
