One of our Top Partners is building a team for Windows 10 Migration. Candidates mus have the following skills:

Clearance: Interim Secret DoD Clearance

Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE and another certification

Administrator - Intermediate (Desktop Support)

All work must be completed on-site at Ft. Knox. We are looking for the following requirements for the position in with the Desktop Support Team. Team primary responsibilities to assist staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology. Support includes specification, installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The position utilizes one-on-ne consultancy to end users and Network staff. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Assist with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software with established standards and guidelines. Works with Help Desk and Network Operations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from users. Must be able to interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum four years of technical experience in an enterprise helpdesk or desktop support role
Prior Army or Army Recruiting experience is a plus
Knowledge of ISO/ITIL processes and documentation standards a must
Possess a SECRET clearance or have the ability to get one. Must have an interim SECRET to begin work on the contract
Must be able to obtain the Security+ certification and provide proof that the candidate is enrolled into the CompTIA Continuing Education program before start
Secondary certification relative to the Computing Environment (A+, Microsoft)
Must sign privileged level access agreement

Skills/Abilities:
People skills, team player, strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to troubleshoot problems quickly, work as both a team and/or as a self-directed individual, client-facing experience, self-disciplined and ability to multi-task Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting Windows 7
Basic Hardware and software troubleshooting
Ability to train other team members on the applications, proper procedures, problem isolation
Must be knowledgeable with the concepts and policy controls of Active Directory
Knowledge of and experience with printer mapping, LAN/WAN network configuration and troubleshooting, VPN client connectivity
Ability to develop instructions in a logical, detailed flow
