The fastest growing and most exciting emerging market in the Microsoft OEM division needs an entrepreneurial and motivated marketer to manage Windows IoT product marketing, Azure IoT product marketing and their combined solutions, events, and co-marketing with distribution partners/OEMs for the OEM IoT Device Experience Marketing team.

This role will work in the existing OEM IoT Device Experience Marketing and Sales Team to drive leadership, guidance and support to and through the Distributor channel for Edge to Enterprise level solutions. S/he will be responsible for fostering allegiance, leading and executing end-to-end marketing strategy for our region and key accounts, driving readiness, sell to and sell through engagements from Distribution to OEM.

The role will serve as a key interface across the EMEA business and will partner with the Global product teams, Sales, PTM, and Marketing teams to deliver key campaigns and account wins. This role will also take the lead on a number of key global programs including, but not limited to C-Level engagement series, breadth account marketing and an education series for sellers across the selling channels.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop and Execute IoT category plans in conjunction with the OEM IoT Device Experience sales teams for regional distributors and the top managed accounts

Work with Account Managers to build business cases, as appropriate, for promotional opportunities, incubation engagements including an analysis of market conditions, consumer targets, and competitive threats. These business cases should deliver the maximum ROI, as well as tie directly to scorecard metrics.

Develop comprehensive IoT Device Experience market strategy designed to increase market share and gain ROI

Drive partner engagement and sell-through of key SKUs along with Azure attach through the development of category/vertical specific marketing campaigns

Manage the relationship with key OEM teams to extend sales & marketing readiness and ecosystem engagement via integrated marketing planning and execution

Attain OEM Device Experience KPIs through creation, validation, and flawless execution of integrated marketing plans

Drive development of key end-customer presentations as well as vertical tradeshows, events and account tours

Provide in depth business analysis and insight on regional performance and engage with Corp, global account management, and regional leadership teams on strategy and execution

Manage marketing budget - forecasting and tracking spend over time and controlling its application in line with ROI targets

Work with the Windows and Azure product groups to develop and execute key learnings and contribute to future product enhancements

Key Success Criteria:

Proactive communication on issues and opportunities to the OEM Device Experience leadership in region and HQ

Create and roll out global programs designed to own the story at the C-Level and drive our long-tail engagement

Business analysis and insight and reporting through ROB Windows IoT Share of Devices and attach rate of Azure services

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential Experience The successful candidate will have relevant marketing experience in technology or related fields. This role requires an individual with a broad skill set encompassing excellent marketing & relationship management capabilities, with proven ability to collaborate well with cross functional groups and virtual teams to achieve specific objectives. Key relationships include OEM Device Experience sales and marketing, Windows IoT and Azure product groups. This role requires a marketer with strong business acumen to drive business development and marketing engagements that align with our business strategy and increase share. The candidate must possess the ability to remain focused even when faced with ambiguity. Equally important, this role requires a self-starter who has well developed competencies in developing sales and marketing strategies that promote dominance in a specific category or vertical.

Technical/Functional Skills Strong understanding of overall marketing mix and relevant ROI metrics that demonstrate success. An understanding the IoT ecosystem and a passion for technology.

Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills Strong virtual team leadership who has the ability to deal with ambiguity and rally different groups around a single purpose to drive business results

Qualifications Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years B2C or B2B Manufacturing sales & marketing experience, preferably in the high-tech industry. MBA preferred but not necessary.

Experience and understanding of Microsoft marketing channel strategies, and a minimum of 3+ years of experience implementing marketing programs and processes.

Related experience working with PC manufacturers or the embedded/IoT channel is preferred, but not necessary. Excellent communication skills, proven delivery of marketing campaigns, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to drive cross-group collaboration. Must be a highly functioning leader, able to proactively build relationships with product and sales team and become knowledgeable in embedded operating systems, and comfortable with the concepts associated with Microsoft Embedded products.
