Robert Half IT is seeking a Software Developer with experience in Windows Kernel Device Drivers and Rootkits.
The ideal candidate will primarily design and implement Windows Kernel and Application modules/ Toolkits for simulation of electromagnetic disruption effects, and for kernel level programming on research projects including kernel-level malware testing.
Qualifications: Candidates must be familiar with the design and implementation of both kernel drivers and Rootkits. Candidates should be proficient in using Git and programming using Visual Studio. Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar degree or sufficient experience, and be proficient in programming in at least two languages including C/C++.
The following experience is highly desired:
- Development of kernel device drivers
- Development of Windows rootkits and other Windows kernel malware
- Experience on multiple versions of Windows including XP through Windows 10 and Windows Server variants.
Experience: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or similar field) with 2+ years of experience as a programmer and some experience in Windows kernel programming, or 4+ years Windows kernel programming.
