Systems Administrator – Washington, DC The System Administrator will work in a mainly Windows centric server environment and is responsible for provisioning, configuring, and managing our internally-facing hardware and software systems. This individual will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure while supporting the internal facing technologies of the company and helping shape the direction of our technology.

• Responsible for deploying new infrastructure, systems, and services and for serving as a lead on new enterprise systems implementations . • Manage the growing number of internal Windows (and some Linux) servers that provide support for the enterprise through the use of tools like SCCM. • Analyze system logs and patterns to identify potential issues and proactively resolve them • Scale systems and applications to keep up with 2U's rapid expansion while focusing on high availability • Analyze current process and workflow for IT Team to identify inefficiencies and assist to streamline through automation • Interface with non-technical departments/stakeholders to assist with identifying technology needs and creating solutions • Assist in planning for the future strategy of internally-facing systems and infrastructure • Conducts/develops proactive maintenance designed to ensure optimal performance of internal systems
