This senior functional role has responsibility for end-to-end architecture of Commercial Solutions under the scope of the Development Team. Collaboration across the Development Team is essential to properly position and implement solutions within the global end-to-end architecture. In addition, this leader will be accountable for transforming HR/Workday business opportunities into comprehensive integrated solutions that would deliver differentiating capabilities. A good understanding of best practices within the HR business model/landscape including the Workday solution is desirable for this role.
  • End-to-end architectural accountability for all HR/Workday solutions within the scope of
  • Partner strategically with the IT & Business Service Leads across TCCC to guide technology direction, short/long term roadmaps, and holistic value across the portfolio.
  • Set vision and strategy for the leveraged use of technology in the HR/Workday area to accelerate revenue growth and creating competitive advantage
  • Collaborate with the internal architecture community to develop architecture strategies for existing and emerging process/technologies
  • Drive innovation into mainstream delivery
  • Maintain influential knowledge of industry trends in strategic areas of importance
  • Propose and run/govern proof of concepts for new technologies which could result in differentiating capabilities for the business
  • Technical recommendations for HR/Workday
  • Guiding migrations and upgrades by collaborating with Platform Architects
  • Promoting a clean Separation of Concerns in implementations to minimize impact of Customizations
Requirements:
  • Very strong functional skills with 10+ years of IT Architectural experience
  • Proven experience in integration of Enterprise Applications with mobile & web interfaces
  • Strong customer focus with demonstrated push for value & continuous improvement
  • Experience working with external resources (onshore and offshore)
  • Workday implementation experience
Integration Skills:
Competence with System integration using middleware - Tibco, Rabbit MQ, Mulesoft, Apigee, IBM MQ Series, etc.

General Skills:
  • Competence with Java, .NET, PHP and/or Node.js
  • Technologist - familiar with industry trends and implications
  • Familiar with Cloud Ecosystems such as AWS, Google AppEngine, Heroku, Windows Azure
  • Prior Software Development Experience (preferably 5+ years)
  • Ability to understand and support a code base that another developer or team authored
  • Understanding of security
  • Understanding of ecommerce concepts
  • Understanding of web server concepts
  • Understanding of DNS
  • Ability to design and implement Micro Services in a distributed environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate design trade-offs in business terms
  • Fluent in OCL or equivalent
  • Understanding of cloud hosting versus on premise versus on premise cloud
  • Understanding of networking concepts
  • Understanding of load balancing concepts
  • Understanding of Privacy Implications to Code Implementation
  • Understanding of mobile concepts
  • Ability to prioritize, orchestrate, and architect Micro Services in a legacy or cloud based environment

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
