Position Summary
The Workforce Planning & Analytics Insights Lead will have primary accountability for the strategy and approach to Workforce Planning at BMS. This role will develop and manage an approach which aligns insights from external and internal analytics, human capital best practices, and business strategy/objectives. The role will work with HR BPs and Business Leaders to ensure workforce plans are developed and managed, but also creates an enterprise view of critical gaps and opportunities to proactively manage across the business.

Detailed Position Responsibilities
  • Defines BMS’ approach to workforce planning based on external and internal benchmarking of best practices, and continues to keep the tools, practice and process relevant and effective
  • Partners with key business leaders, S&OP leads, Finance, HRBPs and business analytics to ensure appropriate input to the workforce planning approach, in alignment with our business strategy and financial plans
  • Partners with HR BPs to support the creation of workforce plans within the business areas, ensuring practical application, continuous improvement and breadth of perspective of the differences and synergies across the enterprise
  • Develops approach which leverages employee insights, analytics and predictive analytics to develops workforce plans
  • Applies a strong understanding of external macro-economic and human capital data and trends that may impact future structures and workforce composition
  • Identifies critical workforce segments, and talent requirements; anticipates potential gaps and retention risks
  • Ensures a robust approach to track the Return on Investment of any initiatives taken
  • Actively support broader Talent management initiatives. Participate as an active thought partnership and team member with the WTP team and broader TWI team and actively support broader TWI initiatives

Experience Desired
  • Bachelors and 10 years of relevant experience required; Masters in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, HR Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or similar is strongly preferred
  • Progressive experience in HR or in one or more of the following specialties: Workforce planning, consulting, financial analysis and/or predicative and/or prescriptive analytics
  • Demonstrated strong financial acumen and advanced/predictive analytics to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce planning
  • Ability to develop and manage a process that articulates strategic, tactical and financial goals, plans and dependencies
  • Experience or expertise in an additional area of focus within the CTWI (growth and development, leadership development, management of high potential talent, managing performance and creating a compelling and engaging employee experience) would be preferred
