The Workplace Sales Director will direct a team of associates responsible for providing external wholesaling/marketing services to specified accounts/territories and drive 403b product sales by promoting products through Third Parties.



  • Directs 403b external wholesaling sales activities within a defined geographic or product area supporting independent agents, Broker/Dealers, Brokerage Firms, Financial Planners and/or Banks.
  • Develops and recommends sales plans and budgets for assigned region.
  • Manages associates who provide external wholesaling services and support to a specific region.
  • Assists external wholesaling sales staff with increasing sales by developing and maintaining strong relationships within assigned region.
  • Identifies training needs and develops and/or delivers training programs.
  • Full people management responsibilities, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance/ compensation management, and training/development.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7-10 years of financial/insurance industry sales experience
  • If not licensed, will be expected to obtain the FINRA Series 6, 63, and State Variable Annuity License within 4 months of finishing training class.
